PARDON ME, BUT IS THAT HANNAH BARBERRA ON YOUR SHIRT?

This was a cover assignment for the corrospondence course I took from Joe Kubert's school, those guy's at Kubert's all had a big fat laugh over this one, but what could I do about it they already cashed my check.

The only compliment I ever got on it was when I begged my wife to figure out how to get this on a t-shirt, which I then wore to my first ever comicbook show down in Baltimore 2003. Some big guy in a booth yelled over. "Yeah bring back ENOK!!!!" then turned to his friend who say's "Whoda-hell es ENOKS mahn?" to which he replied, " You don't remember that dude? It was like the best 70's Hannah Barberra cartoon EVER!!!" When really I just made it up myself.
Take that Joe Kubert's school of sequential false hopes and dreams!!!!! Oh yeah...I'm supposed to tell you that there's a hidden message in the piece also which Joe and the gang did'nt find too funny.

Those are some funny stories, Mike. I think it'd be awesome if you did a mini comic using this character. Why not? You could even play it as the long-awaiting return of Enok, playing as if there was a series in the '70s! I'm still looking for the hidden message. I'm probably trying too hard to find it.

My taste is probably suspect, but I like Enok. I don't see that darn hidden message either. Is it in the bar code? It looks like it says something about Joe Kubert.

Hmm. I'm not sure what it says, but there looks like there might be some lettering in the shading on the dinosaur's wings. Just a guess, though...

Okay, I guess I'll let you off the hook. The ever estute Jack Bertram get's the General Aldo award for being the closest and guessing the UPC had something to do with it. (sorry I can make it out, but it's probably cause I know it's there) It read's BUY A STACK OF COMICS TODAY! To which the guy's at Joes tersely circled in red and wrote:
"never draw in this box!!!"
John...Thanks for posting, can't wait to check out your blog! and lastly, Matt I luv your idea for an Enok mini I will surely keep it in mind.

I LOVE that cover! Enok should get his own comic book.

After I graduated high school I looked into the Kubert school but it always seemed that they only helped those artists that were already talented. It intimidated me and I never bothered.

I'm glad I did.
